Chris is KC’s in-house Chief Surveyor but also steps in as a Site Superintendent.  Joining KC’s workforce in 2003, Chris has seen much of the company’s evolution into a premier Dam contractor in the region, along the way learning and gaining valuable practical experience. 

Chris has over 30 years’ experience in the survey, engineering and construction fields. He has extensive experience in all aspects of boundary surveys, computer aided drafting, construction survey, layout, volumetric calculations and design. Chris also has experience working with and assisting in project management coordination as well as assuming project superintendent duties. He has also been called upon to assist the estimating department with quantity takeoffs for project bidding.  After serving 4 years in the military, Chris began his career within the family business as a survey Party Crew Chief and eventually broke off and owned and operated his own surveying firm, Knash Associates, for 10+ years.  This experience has put Chris in the position to build invaluable experience working as an individual, being in a position of responsibility, and in charge of directing others.

Chis lives in Northeastern PA, placing him in a region of heavy dam construction and extending KC’s local knowledge of this area.  Chris is an avid outdoors man - enjoying hunting, fishing and camping.
